What is EMSA all about?<\/strong>
Capacity building projects support the relevance, accessibility and responsiveness of VET institutions and systems in third countries, and for this project, countries in the Middle East.
Entrepreneurship is a vital driver of economic growth and development, and it is a set of skills which can be taught with the appropriate frameworks, methods and tools, especially in a VET context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EMSA<\/strong> aims to build the capacity of VET institutions in Egypt, Jordan and Palestine through the implementation of two complete VET programmes which will be offered to their learners and will be based on Key Competences of Lifelong Learning (ERF) and the Entrepreneurial Mindset (ENTRECOMP) and co-developed with two VET organisations from Cyprus and Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The objectives of the project are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Implement together the whole cycle of 2 VET programmes (from the design, to the evaluation and validation)
\u2022 Co-design, co-develop VET curricula and materials for the 6 (out of the 8 competences) of the ERF and the 15 competences of ENTRECOMP and to align them with level 5 of EQF
\u2022 Develop the competences of VET providers of the partners from the Middle East on the design of curricula and materials as well as the specific frameworks (ERF and ENTRECOMP)
\u2022 Co-develop assessment tools for ENTRECOMP and ERF curricula to be used for the validation of the non-formal learning provided to the learners
\u2022 Develop and validate the competences of the learners
\u2022 Empower the VET providers in the countries of the Middle East through the implementation of capacity building activities such as workshops, training of master trainers etc.
