The European project EU FOODPACT aims to support the green and sustainable transition of the agri-food sector by developing training, mentoring, certification support and collaborative learning tools for farmers, managers, workers of agri-food MSMEs, future workers, educational centres and policymakers. The project focuses on making sustainability skills practical, visible and transferable through Community Food Education Hubs, modular learning, guidance tools and a certification-oriented approach.

Project Objectives
• Support the development of sustainability skills in the agri-food sector through targeted education and training activities.
• Develop practical resources, tools and learning opportunities that can be used by current and future agri-food professionals.
• Promote the adoption of sustainable business practices, certification guidance and reporting approaches in agri-food MSMEs.
• Strengthen collaboration among educational centres, MSMEs, chambers of commerce, certification bodies and public authorities.
• Increase stakeholder awareness, engagement and long-term use of the project results at local, national and European level.
• Ensure that project results remain openly accessible and exploitable beyond the project lifetime.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, with the participation of partners from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus, Iceland, Sweden, Romania and Greece.
