OUTDOOR FITNESS EQUIPMENT
CyCert provides inspection of outdoor fitness equipment permanently installed in municipalities and other public or private locations.
Inspections are conducted in accordance with the provisions of European Standard EN 16630. EN 16630 is a European standard that establishes general safety requirements for the manufacture, installation, inspection, and maintenance of permanently installed, freely accessible outdoor fitness equipment. The standard specifies that equipment should be designed to promote physical activity for people of all abilities. Cardiovascular, strength, toning, balance, coordination, and flexibility exercises are all examples of such activities.
CyCert conducts inspections using specialised equipment and calibres, which include the following:
- Inspection of the equipment visually.
- Dimensional inspection of all equipment components.
- Equipment with sharp edges.
- Any foundations that are visible.
- Missing or excessively worn components.
- Possibility of entrapment on the equipment for the head, neck, fingers, or other body parts.
- The equipment’s structural integrity.
Following the inspection, CyCert provides the client with a detailed inspection report that includes findings and photographs.
